It is an IT Asset Management System focused in efficiently managing the circular life-cycle of devices. It processes detailed hardware information, contributing organizations to manage their hardware more effectively, avoiding unnecessary asset purchases (reduce) and promoting the harvesting of existing resources (internal reuse). A Device Hub can easily integrate with existing social platforms, IT Asset Management Systems, with other Device Hubs and with traceability systems to exchange traceability information, ensuring and promoting reusing and final recycling. There is an Android OS application that helps traceability of digital devices stored on a Device Hub. Using the geolocation capabilities of an smartphone and reading QR tags sticked on devices, the app can geolocate devices on use/reuse and when they are collected in collection points for recycling (and in other situations), ensuring the process.

Automatically capturing hardware info It processes detailed hardware information at component level including internal serial numbers.
We achieved a high success rate in automatically capturing these hardware characteristics and serial numbers; e.g. 99.3% for network card and hard disks, and 87% for manufacturer number for diverse components is automatically detected in 87% of cases, and from these 97% is unique.
A Tag system Uses an ID system that uses QR for identification and tracking purposes. After the device is registered, the donor tags the computer by printing its identifier and QR code that points to the uniform resource locator (URL) where the device description is stored. A smartphone can be used to geotag and visualize the characteristics of any device.
